There is a particular quality of light that belongs to the threshold — the moment between inside and out, between arriving and leaving. The AURO Lyft lives there. Mounted beside a door, at the end of a path, along a garden wall, it casts its beam in both directions at once: upward into the architecture, downward onto the ground. Two movements. One fixture.
The body is cast aluminium — matte black, powder-coated against weather and time. The tempered glass diffuser softens the 10W LED into something warm and even, without glare. IP65 rated, it is built for rain, frost, and the long exposure of an exterior wall. The universal voltage (110–260V) means it works anywhere, and the dimmable driver means the light can be as quiet or as present as the evening asks.
The AURO Lyft is a considered object. Not decorative for its own sake — purposeful. It marks a space. It says: this is a home that pays attention to its edges, not just its interiors. It is the kind of detail that guests notice without knowing why.

- Q: Can I use this with a standard dimmer switch, or does it need a specific LED-compatible dimmer?
A: The AURO Lyft is compatible with standard leading-edge and trailing-edge LED dimmer switches. No specialist dimmer is required — any modern LED-compatible dimmer switch rated for the wattage will work. For a 10W fitting, a dimmer rated at 40W or above is recommended to ensure smooth operation. - Q: Does the light cast equal amounts up and down, or is one direction brighter?
A: The Lyft casts light symmetrically — the LED module is centred within the body, directing equal output through both the upper and lower apertures. The tempered glass diffuser ensures an even, glare-free spread in both directions. - Q: What size back box does this mount to — will it fit over a standard UK 25mm back box?
A: The AURO Lyft mounts to a standard UK circular or square back box (BESA box). The base plate covers a standard 25mm surface-mounted back box. The wiring entry is from the rear, so no side-entry conduit is required.

Email us at hello@byauro.com with a photo of the damage within 48 hours of delivery. We'll send a replacement free of charge — no hassle, no back and forth.
How do I know what size to choose?
Every product page lists exact dimensions for each option. For wall art, your piece should fill roughly two-thirds of the wall space above your furniture — measure the width and multiply by 0.6 to 0.75. Hang it with the centre at eye level, around 150cm from the floor.
For lighting, a simple rule used by top designers: add your room's length and width in metres, multiply by 2.5, and that gives you the ideal fixture width in centimetres.
Pendants over a dining table should hang 75-90cm above the table surface.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?
We do our best to ensure accurate colour representation, but slight variations can occur due to screen settings and lighting conditions. Our products are produced to match the listing images as closely as possible.
