Cast from die-pressed aluminium and finished in a matte powder coat, the Kant is built to stay outside. The sealed body stands up to rain, coastal air, and the slow wear of seasons without losing its edge. The warm-to-neutral LED inside throws a focused wash of light downward — enough to guide, enough to illuminate, never harsh.
Installation is straightforward: the Kant connects directly to your existing outdoor wiring. No new circuits, no special fittings. It sits flush against the wall, the triangle pointing upward, casting its glow down and outward in a clean arc.

- Wipe the aluminium body with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and surface debris. Do not use abrasive pads, wire brushes, or solvent-based cleaners — these will damage the powder-coat finish.
- In coastal or high-humidity environments, wipe down the fitting monthly with a slightly damp cloth to prevent salt and mineral build-up. Dry thoroughly afterwards.
- Do not use high-pressure water jets to clean the fixture — direct water ingress may affect the internal LED driver even in weather-resistant fittings.
- Disconnect from the mains supply before cleaning or performing any maintenance on the fixture.
- The integrated LED is not user-replaceable. If the light fails within the warranty period, contact AURO support for a replacement unit.

- Q: Is 3W bright enough for a front door or porch area?
A: At 3W with 80 lm/W efficiency, the Kant produces approximately 240 lumens — the equivalent of a 25W incandescent bulb. This is well-suited for ambient porch lighting, pathway marking, and decorative accent use. For a primary security light or a large open area, a higher-wattage fixture would be more appropriate. For a doorway, courtyard wall, or garden path, 240 lumens is the right level — present without being harsh. - Q: Can this be used indoors as well as outdoors?
A: Yes. The aluminium body and sealed construction make it suitable for both indoor and outdoor installation. It works well in hallways, stairwells, covered porches, and any interior space where a wall-mounted directional light is needed. The universal 85–265V input means it connects to standard UK wiring without modification. - Q: Does the triangle point upward or downward when installed?
A: The Kant is designed to be mounted with the apex (point) facing upward and the flat base at the bottom, so the light washes downward from the base. This is the standard orientation shown in the product images. The fixture can technically be mounted inverted, but the downward-facing orientation is recommended for weather resistance and optimal light direction. - Q: What colour temperature does it come in — can I choose warm or cool white?
A: The Kant's integrated LED covers a 3000–4500K range. The default output sits in the warm-neutral zone (approximately 3000–3500K in practice), which reads as warm white in most environments. It is not user-adjustable — the colour temperature is fixed at manufacture. If you need a specific CCT, confirm with the supplier at point of order.

How do I know what size to choose?
Every product page lists exact dimensions for each option. For wall art, your piece should fill roughly two-thirds of the wall space above your furniture — measure the width and multiply by 0.6 to 0.75. Hang it with the centre at eye level, around 150cm from the floor.
For lighting, a simple rule used by top designers: add your room's length and width in metres, multiply by 2.5, and that gives you the ideal fixture width in centimetres.
Pendants over a dining table should hang 75-90cm above the table surface.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?
We do our best to ensure accurate colour representation, but slight variations can occur due to screen settings and lighting conditions. Our products are produced to match the listing images as closely as possible.
