• Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use water, solvents, or cleaning sprays directly on the painted surface.
• The oil paint surface is waterproof — minor surface dust can be wiped with a barely damp cloth if needed. Allow to dry fully before rehanging.
• Avoid hanging in rooms with sustained high humidity (bathrooms, kitchens with steam). The canvas and timber frame are sensitive to prolonged moisture exposure.
• Keep away from direct, sustained sunlight to preserve the tonal range of the palette over time.
• Do not lean heavy objects against the painted surface — the raised texture, while durable, can be compressed under sustained pressure.

• Q: Is the painting a print or genuinely handmade? A: It is 100% handmade. The texture is built up in oil paint by hand — no digital print, no reproduction process. The raised surface cannot be replicated by printing. Each piece will have minor variations in the exact placement and depth of the texture marks, which is a natural result of the handmade process.
• Q: Will the colours look the same in my home as they do in the photos? A: The palette is near-monochrome — grey, white, and warm brown — so colour accuracy is less of a variable than with more saturated paintings. The tonal balance may shift slightly depending on your lighting: warm lamp light will emphasise the brown undertones; cool daylight will read cooler and more grey. Both are intentional and part of how the painting works.
• Q: Does it arrive with a smell from the paint or materials? A: The paint used is waterproof and eco-friendly. A faint paint odour on arrival is normal and will dissipate fully within a few days of hanging in a ventilated room.
• Q: Can I hang it without a frame, or does it need one? A: No frame is needed. The canvas is stretched on a solid timber frame to a 4cm gallery depth, with the edges fully painted. A metal hook is pre-attached to the back. It is designed to hang directly on the wall and look complete without any additional framing.
• Q: Which size should I choose for my wall? A: As a guide — the 40×80cm works well above a bedside table, console, or in a hallway. The 50×100cm suits a bedroom feature wall or a smaller living room. The 60×120cm is the most versatile size for a living room or dining room. The 70×140cm is a statement piece — it anchors a large wall and is best viewed from at least 2–3 metres away.
