The front of a house says something before you've even opened the door. The Bloc says it quietly — two clean aluminium cubes, mounted either side of the entrance, casting warm light upward and downward in equal measure. Considered. Deliberate. The kind of detail that people notice without knowing why.
The body is die-cast aluminium with a tempered glass diffuser. The light emerges from both the top and bottom of the cube, creating a soft, even wash across the wall surface. In black, it disappears into a dark facade and lets the light do the work. In white, it becomes part of the architecture itself.
Rated for outdoor use and built to handle whatever the weather brings, the Bloc is a permanent fixture — not something you'll be replacing in a season. The integrated LED runs at 6W or 12W, delivering 30,000 hours of consistent output with no bulb to source, no fitting to change.

A: Both. The Bloc is designed as an up-down light — the integrated LED illuminates through the tempered glass diffuser at both the top and bottom of the cube simultaneously, creating a symmetrical wash of light across the wall surface above and below the fitting. - Q: Can I connect this to a motion sensor or dusk-to-dawn switch?
A: Yes — because the Bloc is a hardwired fitting with no integrated sensor, it works with any standard wall switch, timer, motion sensor, or dusk-to-dawn switch wired into the circuit. The control is handled at the switch level, not the fixture itself. - Q: Is the 6W version bright enough for a front door entrance, or should I choose 12W?
A: For a standard residential entrance or garden path, the 6W version (at 85 lm/W) delivers sufficient ambient light for navigation and aesthetics. How do I know what size to choose?
Every product page lists exact dimensions for each option. For wall art, your piece should fill roughly two-thirds of the wall space above your furniture — measure the width and multiply by 0.6 to 0.75. Hang it with the centre at eye level, around 150cm from the floor.
For lighting, a simple rule used by top designers: add your room's length and width in metres, multiply by 2.5, and that gives you the ideal fixture width in centimetres.
Pendants over a dining table should hang 75-90cm above the table surface.
