• Dust the bamboo weave gently with a soft dry brush or low-suction vacuum attachment — do not wipe with damp cloths or apply any liquid directly to the weave.
• Keep away from high-humidity environments such as bathrooms or kitchens; sustained moisture can cause natural bamboo to soften or distort over time.
• When replacing the bulb, switch off and allow the shade to cool fully before handling — the bamboo weave sits close to the fitting and retains warmth briefly after use.
• Do not exceed 18W on the E27 fitting — higher wattage bulbs generate more heat inside the enclosed weave and should be avoided.

• Q: What is AURO Vaeler made from? A: The shade is handwoven bamboo, shaped into a diamond lattice pattern over an oval teardrop form. The base is your choice of natural rounded wood or a slimmer metal stem. The construction is entirely natural-material — bamboo weave on organic or metal base, nothing synthetic.
• Q: What does the light look like when it is switched on? A: Warm 2700K light passes through the gaps in the bamboo weave, casting dappled diamond-shaped patterns across the walls and ceiling around it. The effect is soft, layered, and entirely different from a standard shade — the lamp becomes the feature, not just the light source.
• Q: What bulb do I need? A: AURO Vaeler uses a standard E27 screw base. Bulbs are not included — fit an 18W LED E27 for the intended light output. Dimmable E27 bulbs are compatible with an external dimmer switch if desired.
• Q: Which size and base should I choose? A: The D18cm shade is taller and more slender — better as a bedside or corner piece where verticality suits the space. The D23cm shade is rounder and more compact — better on a console, sideboard, or desk. Wood bases give a warmer, more organic feel; the metal base is slightly more refined and contemporary.
