There is a quality of light that belongs to early evening — the hour when the room settles, the day releases its grip, and the space around you becomes somewhere you actually want to be. The AURO Miru was made for that hour. Its organic resin body, shaped like a softened bean in full bloom, holds the light from within and lets it breathe upward and outward in a warm, unhurried glow.
The form is entirely its own. The milk-bean silhouette — smooth, rounded, slightly asymmetric — is not a geometric exercise. It is a shape that belongs in a room the way a stone belongs in a garden. The resin body comes in matte white or matte black, both finished to sit quietly against plaster, timber, or stone. The slender iron arm and backplate follow the same restraint. Nothing competes with the light.
The G9 socket accepts a wide range of LED bulbs — warm white at 2700K for amber evenings, neutral at 3500K for a balanced everyday glow, or a dimmable LED if your switch supports it. The Miru does not dictate the atmosphere. It creates the conditions for it.

- Wipe the resin body with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive materials or chemical cleaners — these can dull the matte finish.
- Avoid prolonged direct sunlight on the resin body, which can cause gradual discolouration over time.
- Wipe the iron arm and backplate with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use wet cloths or liquid cleaners on the metal.
- Disconnect from power before cleaning.
- Indoor use only.
- To replace the G9 bulb: switch off and allow to cool for at least 5 minutes before handling. G9 bulbs run warm — handle with a dry cloth, not bare fingers.

- Q: Will this work with a dimmer switch? A: Yes, but only if you use a dimmable G9 LED bulb and a compatible trailing-edge dimmer switch. Standard (non-dimmable) G9 LED bulbs and leading-edge dimmers can cause flickering. The Miru's G9 socket supports up to 40W — a 4W–6W dimmable G9 LED is recommended for smooth, flicker-free dimming. The dimmer switch is not included.
- Q: Does the resin body get hot near the bulb? A: The G9 socket is positioned inside the iron arm, away from the resin body. With a G9 LED bulb (4W–6W), heat output is minimal. We strongly recommend using an LED bulb rather than a halogen G9 — halogen G9 bulbs run significantly hotter and are not recommended for use with resin shades.
- Q: Can I use a higher wattage G9 bulb to get more light? A: The maximum rated wattage for the G9 socket is 40W. However, a 4W–6W G9 LED bulb produces the equivalent light output of a 40W halogen at a fraction of the heat. We do not recommend exceeding 10W LED in this fixture — the Miru is designed for ambient, mood lighting rather than task illumination.
- Q: Are G9 LED bulbs easy to find as replacements? A: Yes. G9 LED bulbs are widely available in supermarkets, hardware stores (B&Q, Screwfix, Bunnings), and online. They are a standard bulb format used across thousands of European and UK fixtures. A replacement 4W G9 LED costs approximately £2–£5 and is available from most major retailers.

How long will it take to receive my order?

How do I know what size to choose?
Every product page lists exact dimensions for each option. For wall art, your piece should fill roughly two-thirds of the wall space above your furniture — measure the width and multiply by 0.6 to 0.75. Hang it with the centre at eye level, around 150cm from the floor.
For lighting, a simple rule used by top designers: add your room's length and width in metres, multiply by 2.5, and that gives you the ideal fixture width in centimetres.
Pendants over a dining table should hang 75-90cm above the table surface.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?
We do our best to ensure accurate colour representation, but slight variations can occur due to screen settings and lighting conditions. Our products are produced to match the listing images as closely as possible.
