• Dust lightly with a soft, dry cloth — do not use wet cloths or cleaning sprays directly on the canvas surface.
• Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight — UV light will fade oil and acrylic pigments over time.
• Keep away from sustained humidity and steam — do not hang in bathrooms or kitchens.
• If the canvas arrives with minor rolling creases, stretch it over a frame and allow 24–48 hours for the canvas to relax fully.
• Do not fold or crease the canvas — store flat or rolled if not immediately displayed.

• Q: The painting arrives rolled — how do I display it? A: The canvas is shipped rolled in a protective tube to keep the weight and packing dimensions manageable. To display it, you have two options: stretch it over a wooden stretcher frame (available from most art supply or framing shops) for a gallery-style finish, or take it to a framer and have it mounted behind glass. Both methods work well. A frame or stretcher is not included.
• Q: Will the colours look exactly like the photos? A: The listing states more than 95% colour accuracy to the product images. Because each piece is handmade, the exact placement and intensity of brushstrokes will vary — this is a feature of the handmade process, not a defect. Screen calibration can affect how colours appear on different devices, but the overall palette will be consistent with what is shown.
• Q: There is a faint smell when I unbox it — is this normal? A: Yes, completely normal. Handmade oil and acrylic paintings can carry a faint solvent or paint smell when first unboxed, particularly after being rolled and sealed in transit packaging. Place it in a well-ventilated room for 24–48 hours and the smell will dissipate fully.
• Q: Can I hang it in a bathroom or kitchen? A: We recommend against it. Although the canvas is treated for waterproofing, sustained humidity and steam from cooking or bathing will degrade the canvas and paint over time. The painting is best suited to living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms, hallways, and offices.
• Q: Is each size a separate painting or is it the same image cropped? A: Each size is individually painted by hand — not cropped or digitally scaled from a single image. The composition and proportions are adapted for each canvas size, so the 60×90cm piece is not simply a larger version of the 30×40cm.
