The body is wrought iron, finished in matte black. The shade is frosted glass — not the thin, brittle kind, but a solid panel that diffuses the light evenly and holds its clarity through seasons. The E27 socket accepts any bulb you choose: a warm 2700K LED for atmosphere, or a brighter daylight tone for security. The choice is yours. The fitting is ready.
Two sizes. The 32cm suits a single doorway or a narrow wall between windows. The 40cm commands a wider entrance, a garage wall, or a garden boundary. Both are IP54 rated — built for covered outdoor positions: under eaves, in porches, beneath canopies. Protected from rain and splash without compromise.

- Q: What is the maximum bulb wattage for the E27 socket?
A: The maximum rated wattage is 40W. For LED bulbs, a 6–10W LED equivalent (600–900lm) is more than sufficient for an entrance or porch and will run far cooler than the maximum. - Q: Can this be installed in a fully exposed position — not under cover?
A: No. The AURO Ruta is rated IP54, which means it is protected against rain splash and general weather, but is not designed for fully exposed positions with direct driving rain. It should be installed under eaves, in a porch, or beneath a canopy. - Q: Does the frosted glass shade get dirty easily outdoors?
A: Frosted glass does attract dust and light grime over time, but it wipes clean easily with a damp cloth. The matte texture means water marks are less visible than on clear glass. - Q: Is the bulb included?
A: No — the AURO Ruta comes with the fitting only. The E27 socket accepts any standard bulb. We recommend a 6–8W warm white LED (2700K) for the best atmosphere at the entrance.

How long will it take to receive my order?
Orders are processed within 1-4 business days because we do a detailed 'AURO Quality Check' before shipping. Our warehouses are open Monday to Saturday for processing.
Delivery typically takes 6 to 14 business days, inclusive of the processing time - depending on your location. You'll receive a tracking number by email as soon as your order ships. We deliver to the UK, US, and Australia.

How do I know what size to choose?
Every product page lists exact dimensions for each option. For wall art, your piece should fill roughly two-thirds of the wall space above your furniture — measure the width and multiply by 0.6 to 0.75. Hang it with the centre at eye level, around 150cm from the floor.
For lighting, a simple rule used by top designers: add your room's length and width in metres, multiply by 2.5, and that gives you the ideal fixture width in centimetres.
Pendants over a dining table should hang 75-90cm above the table surface.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?
We do our best to ensure accurate colour representation, but slight variations can occur due to screen settings and lighting conditions. Our products are produced to match the listing images as closely as possible.
