Some lamps light a room. The AURO Rör lights a wall. The tall cylindrical tube of clear glass held in a brass arm, mounted flush against the surface does something that a shade cannot. It reveals the bulb. The filament, the glow, the warmth of the source itself becomes part of the object. And when the light comes on, the wall behind it catches that warmth and holds it.
The Rör is 47 centimetres tall. That height is not incidental it is the reason the lamp works. A short glass cylinder would be a detail. At 47cm, it becomes a statement. A vertical line of warm light on a wall that would otherwise be empty. The brass arm is clean and considered: a simple curve, a round backplate, nothing more than what is needed to hold the glass in place and connect it to the wall.

- Wipe the brass body with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive materials or chemical cleaners, which can damage the brass finish.
- Clean the glass tube with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Dry immediately — do not allow water to pool around the base of the glass where it meets the fitting.
- Disconnect from the mains supply before cleaning.
- Do not use solvents, bleach, or acidic cleaners on the brass — these will strip the finish and accelerate unwanted patination.

- Q: Is the bulb included? A: No. The Rör uses an E14 bulb base (also compatible with E12), which is not included. Any standard E14 LED bulb will work — we recommend a warm white (2700K–3000K) filament-style LED for the best visual effect through the clear glass tube. E14 LED bulbs are widely available in any hardware or lighting store.
- Q: Can I use an LED bulb, or does it require a specific type? A: Any E14 LED bulb up to 60W equivalent will work. LED bulbs are strongly recommended over incandescent — they run cooler, last longer, and produce a cleaner light through the glass. The lamp is rated for MAX 60W, so stay within that limit regardless of bulb type.
- Q: Does the glass tube get hot during use? A: With an LED bulb, the glass remains cool to the touch during normal use. LED bulbs produce very little heat compared to incandescent. If you use an incandescent bulb (not recommended), the glass will become warm — this is normal, but take care when handling.
- Q: Is this hardwired or plug-in? A: The Rör is a hardwired wall lamp — it connects directly to your home's mains wiring via a junction box. Installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician. It is not a plug-in lamp and does not come with a cable or plug.
- Q: Can I use a dimmable bulb with it? A: The Rör itself is not dimmable — it is controlled by a standard wall switch. However, if you install a compatible LED dimmer switch (replacing your existing wall switch), a dimmable E14 LED bulb will respond to it. Ensure any dimmer switch you use is rated for LED loads.

How long will it take to receive my order?
Orders are processed within 1-4 business days because we do a detailed 'AURO Quality Check' before shipping. Our warehouses are open Monday to Saturday for processing.

How do I know what size to choose?
Every product page lists exact dimensions for each option. For wall art, your piece should fill roughly two-thirds of the wall space above your furniture — measure the width and multiply by 0.6 to 0.75. Hang it with the centre at eye level, around 150cm from the floor.
For lighting, a simple rule used by top designers: add your room's length and width in metres, multiply by 2.5, and that gives you the ideal fixture width in centimetres.
Pendants over a dining table should hang 75-90cm above the table surface.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?
We do our best to ensure accurate colour representation, but slight variations can occur due to screen settings and lighting conditions. Our products are produced to match the listing images as closely as possible.
