Built from die-cast aluminium with a matte black powder-coated finish, the Ryl is engineered for permanence. The IP65 weatherproof rating means rain, sleet, and coastal salt air won't compromise the fixture or the finish. The integrated 10W LED delivers a clean, even beam with no hot spots, no warm-up time, and a rated lifespan of 50,000 hours.

The Ryl's proportions are deliberately architectural — a clean cylinder on a minimal wall plate, with no decorative excess. It disappears into the facade during the day and asserts itself at night, exactly as good outdoor lighting should.

Q: Can the cylinder head actually rotate 360°, and how do I lock it in position?|A: Yes — the cylindrical head rotates a full 360°, allowing you to direct the beam upward, downward, or at any angle. Once you have the beam where you want it, tighten the locking screw on the mounting bracket to hold it firmly in place. No tools are needed for rotation; a standard screwdriver is sufficient to lock the position.|Q: Does the light cast upward, downward, or both — and can I choose?|A: The Ryl casts a focused directional beam from the open end of the cylinder. Because the head is fully rotatable, you choose the direction — point it downward to illuminate a pathway, upward to wash a facade, or horizontally to light an entrance. The beam direction is entirely in your hands.|Q: Is the wiring entry from the back or the side — will it cover a standard UK back box?|A: The wiring enters from the back of the wall plate. How do I know what size to choose?

Every product page lists exact dimensions for each option. For wall art, your piece should fill roughly two-thirds of the wall space above your furniture — measure the width and multiply by 0.6 to 0.75. Hang it with the centre at eye level, around 150cm from the floor.

For lighting, a simple rule used by top designers: add your room's length and width in metres, multiply by 2.5, and that gives you the ideal fixture width in centimetres.

Pendants over a dining table should hang 75-90cm above the table surface.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?
