Some lights exist to be seen. The AURO Tors exists to be felt. Its cylindrical aluminium body mounts flush to the wall and sends two narrow columns of light in opposite directions — one upward along the facade, one downward toward the ground — and in doing so, it turns an ordinary exterior wall into something worth looking at.
The form is deliberately restrained. No decorative detail, no unnecessary geometry. Just a clean tube of die-cast aluminium, an integrated 12W LED, and a frosted PC diffuser that softens the output into something warm and even. The Tors does not compete with the architecture. It completes it.
IP65 rated and built for the outdoors — rain, frost, and coastal air are not its concern. Available in matte black and white, each finish reading differently against different surfaces: the black graphic against pale render, the white dissolving into stone or brick until the light comes on. Universal voltage means it works in any market, any home, without modification.
AURO is about objects that earn their place. The Tors earns it twice — once in daylight as a considered piece of wall architecture, and again at night when the light comes on and the wall comes alive.

- Wipe the aluminium body with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive materials or harsh chemical cleaners, which may damage the matte surface finish.
- The frosted PC diffuser can be wiped with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Do not use solvents, alcohol-based cleaners, or abrasive pads — these will cloud or scratch the surface.
- Disconnect from power at the wall switch before cleaning.
- Do not paint or coat the fixture — the aluminium finish is designed for long-term outdoor durability as supplied.
- Inspect the wall mounting and cable entry point annually to ensure the fixture remains secure and the weatherproof seal is intact.

- Q: Is the light bright enough to actually illuminate a path, or is it mainly decorative?
A: The Tors runs at 12W total — 6W directed upward, 6W directed downward. The downward beam provides genuine functional illumination for paths, steps, and entrance areas. The upward beam washes the wall above for architectural effect. At 3000K it reads as warm and atmospheric, but the output is well above purely decorative levels. - Q: Does the PC diffuser yellow or crack outdoors over time?
A: The diffuser is made from UV-stabilised polycarbonate (PC), which is specifically formulated to resist yellowing and brittleness under prolonged UV exposure. It is the same material used in outdoor lighting and automotive lenses. With IP65 sealing, moisture ingress — the primary cause of diffuser degradation — is also prevented. - Q: Can this be used indoors as well as outdoors?
A: Yes. IP65 rated, fully safe for indoor use. The Tors is increasingly used in industrial-aesthetic hallways, stairwells, and feature walls where the clean cylindrical form and focused beam create a dramatic effect on interior surfaces.

How do I know what size to choose?
Every product page lists exact dimensions for each option. For wall art, your piece should fill roughly two-thirds of the wall space above your furniture — measure the width and multiply by 0.6 to 0.75. Hang it with the centre at eye level, around 150cm from the floor.
For lighting, a simple rule used by top designers: add your room's length and width in metres, multiply by 2.5, and that gives you the ideal fixture width in centimetres.
Pendants over a dining table should hang 75-90cm above the table surface.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?
We do our best to ensure accurate colour representation, but slight variations can occur due to screen settings and lighting conditions. Our products are produced to match the listing images as closely as possible.
