Some lights illuminate a space. The AURO Solen defines it. A square die-cast aluminium frame cradling a cylindrical glass globe — this is a fitting that reads as sculpture before it reads as light. Installed beside a front door, at the base of a staircase, or along a garden wall, it changes the character of the surface it sits on.
The Solen is built from die-cast aluminium alloy — rust-proof, corrosion-resistant, and finished in a matte powder coat that holds its colour against UV, salt air, and the full range of British weather. The cylindrical glass diffuser distributes a warm, even glow through the frame, casting light downward and outward in a soft, ambient wash. No harsh shadows. No glare. Just the kind of light that makes a space feel considered.
Integrated 8W LED means no bulbs to source, no replacements to schedule. At 2700K — the warmth of a candle flame — the Solen creates the atmosphere of a well-designed hotel entrance, every evening, at your front door. IP65 rated for full outdoor exposure. How do I know what size to choose?
Every product page lists exact dimensions for each option. For wall art, your piece should fill roughly two-thirds of the wall space above your furniture — measure the width and multiply by 0.6 to 0.75. Hang it with the centre at eye level, around 150cm from the floor.
For lighting, a simple rule used by top designers: add your room's length and width in metres, multiply by 2.5, and that gives you the ideal fixture width in centimetres.
Pendants over a dining table should hang 75-90cm above the table surface.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?
