Some lamps are chosen. The AURO Kova is kept. Its dome — a single pressed aluminium shell — sits against the wall the way a good thing always does: quietly, without asking for attention. At dusk, it throws a warm pool of light across the facade. In daylight, it holds its shape.
The body is full aluminium alloy. Not a composite. Not a coating over plastic. The material that ages well, resists salt air, and does not require seasonal attention. The dome shade diffuses the integrated LED evenly, eliminating hotspots and the harshness that cheaper outdoor lights carry. The finish is matte black — a colour that disappears into the wall and lets the light do the work.
IP65 rated. The seal is not a marketing claim — it means dust-tight and protected against direct water jets from any direction. It belongs on a porch, a garden wall, a garage entrance, or a coastal facade. It does not need to be brought in for winter.

- Wipe the aluminium body with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive pads or solvents — these will damage the matte finish.
- The IP65 rating protects against rain and direct water jets, but do not use a pressure washer directly on the fixture.
- Inspect the wall mounting screws annually and re-tighten if necessary, particularly in coastal or high-wind environments.
- The integrated LED is not user-replaceable. At 50,000 hours (approximately 22 years at 6 hours per night), the fixture will outlast the need for replacement in most installations.
- No seasonal removal required. The IP65 seal is permanent and does not require re-application.

- Q: How bright is 10W — will it illuminate a path or just look decorative?
A: At 90 lm/W, the Kova delivers approximately 900 lumens. This is equivalent to a 60–75W traditional bulb and is sufficient to illuminate a 5–10m² area. For a front door or garage entrance, one fixture is typically adequate. For a long path or driveway, two fixtures spaced 3–4 metres apart are recommended. - Q: Is the LED integrated or can I replace the bulb?
A: The LED is fully integrated — there is no separate bulb to replace. This is by design: integrated LEDs run cooler, last longer (50,000 hours), and maintain consistent colour temperature throughout their lifespan. At 6 hours per night, 50,000 hours equals approximately 22 years of use. - Q: Does IP65 mean it can be installed in a fully exposed location, or does it need to be under an eave?
A: IP65 means dust-tight and protected against water jets from any direction — it does not require shelter. The Kova can be installed on a fully exposed garden wall, a coastal facade, or a fence post. It is not rated for submersion, but rain, frost, and direct spray are all within its protection class. - Q: Can this be dimmed with a standard wall dimmer switch?

How do I know what size to choose?
Every product page lists exact dimensions for each option. For wall art, your piece should fill roughly two-thirds of the wall space above your furniture — measure the width and multiply by 0.6 to 0.75. Hang it with the centre at eye level, around 150cm from the floor.
For lighting, a simple rule used by top designers: add your room's length and width in metres, multiply by 2.5, and that gives you the ideal fixture width in centimetres.
Pendants over a dining table should hang 75-90cm above the table surface.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?
We do our best to ensure accurate colour representation, but slight variations can occur due to screen settings and lighting conditions. Our products are produced to match the listing images as closely as possible.
