The simplest shapes are the hardest to get right. A circle on a wall sounds like nothing. The AURO Boge makes it something. The circular iron frame — clean, considered, flush to the surface — holds a disc of acrylic that glows from within when the light comes on. Not a spotlight. Not a flood. A soft, even wash of warm light that fills the wall behind it and spills gently into the room.
The Boge was made for the rooms that are already close to right. The bedroom that has the right furniture, the right colour on the walls, the right feeling — but is missing the light that ties it together. The Boge does not compete with what is already there. It completes it. A circle of light on the wall, exactly where it should be, in exactly the warmth the room needs.
Three colour temperatures are built in: 3000K for the warmth of candlelight, 4000K for a clean neutral white, 6000K for crisp daylight. You choose at the time of ordering. The integrated LED runs for 50,000 hours — that is over 17 years of nightly use. The Boge is not a lamp you replace. It is a lamp you keep.

- Q: Is the colour temperature fixed, or can I change it after installation? A: The colour temperature is selected at the time of purchase and is built into the integrated LED module. It cannot be changed after the lamp is installed. The Boge is available in 3000K warm white, 4000K neutral white, and 6000K daylight — please select carefully based on the atmosphere you want in the room.
- Q: Can I use this with a dimmer switch already installed on my wall? A: Yes, the Boge is compatible with LED dimmer switches. If you have a compatible LED dimmer switch installed, the lamp will respond to it. Ensure your dimmer is rated for LED loads — older trailing-edge dimmers designed for incandescent bulbs may not be compatible and could cause flickering.
- Q: Is the light bright enough for reading in bed? A: The Boge produces 300 lumens at 10W — this is a soft, ambient wall light designed for atmosphere rather than task lighting. It is well-suited for bedside ambience, corridor lighting, and living room accent lighting. For dedicated reading, we recommend pairing it with a directional reading lamp.
- Q: Will the acrylic shade yellow or discolour over time? A: The acrylic shade is an indoor fitting not exposed to UV light, which is the primary cause of acrylic yellowing. Under normal indoor use, the shade will maintain its colour. Avoid placing the lamp in direct sunlight or near windows with strong UV exposure.

How do I know what size to choose?
Every product page lists exact dimensions for each option. For wall art, your piece should fill roughly two-thirds of the wall space above your furniture — measure the width and multiply by 0.6 to 0.75. Hang it with the centre at eye level, around 150cm from the floor.
For lighting, a simple rule used by top designers: add your room's length and width in metres, multiply by 2.5, and that gives you the ideal fixture width in centimetres.
Pendants over a dining table should hang 75-90cm above the table surface.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?
We do our best to ensure accurate colour representation, but slight variations can occur due to screen settings and lighting conditions. Our products are produced to match the listing images as closely as possible.
