The AURO Holt is a solar-powered outdoor wall lamp with the silhouette of a classic barn sconce — wide flat shade, curved gooseneck arm, matte black finish — and the intelligence of a modern solar system. It charges through the day and responds to the night on its own terms.
The design draws from industrial and farmhouse traditions: a pressed-metal shade that throws light downward in a clean cone, an E27 socket that accepts a filament bulb for warmth, and a gooseneck arm that gives the fixture presence on any wall surface. Brick, render, timber, stone — it reads well against all of them. The integrated solar panel sits discreetly on top of the shade, invisible from below.
Three lighting modes give you control without complexity. Set it to dusk-to-dawn for a constant ambient glow. Choose dim-until-motion for a quiet presence that brightens when someone approaches. Or switch to off-until-motion for pure security lighting that stays dark until it's needed. One button. Three behaviours. No app required.

- Clean the solar panel periodically with a slightly damp cloth to maintain charging efficiency — dust and grime reduce output.
- Do not submerge or pressure-wash. IP65 protects against water jets but not full immersion.
- If removing for an extended period, store in a dry location and recharge the battery before reinstalling.
- The E27 bulb is replaceable. Switch off the unit before changing the bulb. Allow the existing bulb to cool before handling.

A: In dusk-to-dawn mode at 50% brightness, the 2000mAh battery provides approximately 8–10 hours of runtime after a full day of direct sunlight. In motion-sensor mode (off-until-motion), runtime extends significantly as the light only activates on detection. - Q: Will it still work in winter or on overcast days?
A: Yes — the monocrystalline silicon panel charges at 10–25% of its clear-sky rate on overcast days. The 2000mAh battery carries charge from previous days, so the light will still function through short periods of low sun. In extended low-light conditions, motion-sensor mode conserves battery most effectively. - Q: Can I use my own bulb, or does it only work with the included one?
A: The E27 socket accepts any standard E27-compatible bulb. The included bulb is 3500K warm white. You can replace it with any E27 LED — a filament bulb for a warmer vintage glow, or a cooler daylight LED for security applications. Keep wattage under 12W. - Q: Does the motion sensor work through glass or from inside?
A: No — the PIR motion sensor is designed for outdoor detection and requires line-of-sight. It will not detect motion through glass or walls. Detection range is approximately 3–5 metres at up to 120° angle.

How do I know what size to choose?
Every product page lists exact dimensions for each option. For wall art, your piece should fill roughly two-thirds of the wall space above your furniture — measure the width and multiply by 0.6 to 0.75. Hang it with the centre at eye level, around 150cm from the floor.
For lighting, a simple rule used by top designers: add your room's length and width in metres, multiply by 2.5, and that gives you the ideal fixture width in centimetres.
Pendants over a dining table should hang 75-90cm above the table surface.
