The Kova is cast from die-formed aluminium and finished in matte black, white, or grey — each colourway chosen to sit flush against rendered walls, brick, or timber cladding without demanding attention. The GU10 lamp holder rotates within the housing, letting you angle the beam upward to wash a facade, downward to illuminate a path, or forward to greet an entrance. Once set, it holds its position.
Rated IP44, the Kova is built for outdoor life — resistant to rain splash and the slow ingress of moisture that degrades lesser fittings over time. The aluminium body does not rust. The finish does not peel. It will look the same in five years as it does on the day it is installed.

- Wipe the aluminium body with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that may damage the matte finish.
- Disconnect from the mains supply before cleaning or replacing the bulb.
- The GU10 bulb is not included. Use an LED GU10 bulb of up to 7W (50W equivalent). Do not exceed the recommended wattage.
- IP44 rated - suitable for outdoor wall-mounted positions. Avoid directing a hose or pressure washer directly at the fitting.
- Inspect the fitting annually for signs of moisture ingress or seal degradation, particularly in high-rainfall climates.

A: IP44 protects against rain splash and moisture ingress from any direction - it is the minimum rating for outdoor wall-mounted fittings. For positions fully exposed to driving rain or direct water jets, an IP65-rated fitting is recommended. The Kova is well-suited to wall-mounted positions on building facades, porches, and covered entrances. - Q: What GU10 bulb should I use, and is there a maximum wattage?
A: The Kova accepts any standard GU10 base bulb. We recommend an LED GU10 of up to 7W, which delivers the equivalent output of a 50W halogen bulb. Do not exceed 35W halogen equivalent. LED bulbs are strongly preferred - they run cooler, last longer, and draw significantly less power. - Q: Is this a hardwired fitting or does it plug in?
A: The Kova is a surface-mounted hardwired fitting. It connects directly to your outdoor mains wiring via the back of the housing. If you do not have an existing outdoor wall circuit, installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician. - Q: How far can the lamp head be rotated to direct the beam?
A: The GU10 lamp holder pivots within the cube housing, allowing the beam to be directed upward, downward, or at a forward angle. This lets you wash a wall, illuminate a path, or light an entrance - all from the same fixed mounting position.

How do I know what size to choose?
Every product page lists exact dimensions for each option. For wall art, your piece should fill roughly two-thirds of the wall space above your furniture — measure the width and multiply by 0.6 to 0.75. Hang it with the centre at eye level, around 150cm from the floor.
For lighting, a simple rule used by top designers: add your room's length and width in metres, multiply by 2.5, and that gives you the ideal fixture width in centimetres.
Pendants over a dining table should hang 75-90cm above the table surface.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?
We do our best to ensure accurate colour representation, but slight variations can occur due to screen settings and lighting conditions. Our products are produced to match the listing images as closely as possible.
