The housing is weatherproof to IP65 — sealed against rain, dust, and the kind of persistent damp that ends most outdoor lights early. - Wipe the solar panel surface with a soft, dry cloth every few months to maintain charging efficiency — dust and debris can reduce output over time.
- Clean the body with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Do not use solvents, abrasive cleaners, or pressure washing.
- Ensure the solar panel faces south (in the Northern Hemisphere) and is not shaded by overhanging structures or foliage for optimal daily charging.
- In extended periods of very low sunlight (deep winter), the light may operate for fewer hours per night — this is normal and will self-correct as daylight returns.
- Do not submerge or direct a hose at the unit, even though it is IP65 rated — IP65 protects against rain and splashing, not submersion.
- No battery replacement is required under normal use conditions.

- Q: Does it need to be in direct sunlight to charge, or will it work in a shaded spot?
A: The Sola charges best in direct sunlight, but the 2V solar panel will still accumulate charge in bright indirect light. Avoid positions that are fully shaded for the majority of the day — a spot that receives at least 4-6 hours of daylight will give reliable nightly operation. - Q: How long does it stay on each night?
A: After a full day of charging in good sunlight, the Sola will run for approximately 6-8 hours. In shorter winter days with reduced sunlight, runtime will be proportionally shorter — typically 3-5 hours. The dusk sensor activates it automatically each evening. - Q: Can I use it in winter or in a country with limited sunshine?
A: Yes — the Sola will operate year-round. In low-sunlight conditions (overcast climates, winter months), it will charge more slowly and run for fewer hours per night, but it will continue to function. It is not suitable as a primary security light in regions with very long dark winters. - Q: Is it bright enough to illuminate a path or entrance, or is it just decorative?
A: The Sola produces a soft warm white glow — sufficient to mark a path, illuminate a gate or doorstep, and create a welcoming atmosphere. It is not a high-lumen floodlight and is not designed for security or task lighting. Think of it as ambient outdoor accent lighting rather than functional illumination.

How do I know what size to choose?
Every product page lists exact dimensions for each option. For wall art, your piece should fill roughly two-thirds of the wall space above your furniture — measure the width and multiply by 0.6 to 0.75. Hang it with the centre at eye level, around 150cm from the floor.
For lighting, a simple rule used by top designers: add your room's length and width in metres, multiply by 2.5, and that gives you the ideal fixture width in centimetres.
Pendants over a dining table should hang 75-90cm above the table surface.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?
We do our best to ensure accurate colour representation, but slight variations can occur due to screen settings and lighting conditions. Our products are produced to match the listing images as closely as possible.
