There is a quality of light that only stone can hold. The AURO Kiro is a travertine cylinder — ribbed, warm, and carved from genuine yellow cave stone — that casts a soft wash of amber upward and downward along the wall. Not a spotlight. Not a flood. A presence.
The ribbed surface is not decorative. Each vertical groove catches the light differently depending on the angle of the sun or the hour of the evening, so the lamp reads as something alive — changing slightly with the light around it. The natural pores and tonal variation in the stone mean no two Kiro lamps are identical. Yours will be its own thing.

- Wipe the stone shade with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or acidic products — these will damage the natural travertine surface.
- For stubborn marks, use a slightly damp cloth and dry immediately. Do not allow water to pool in the surface pores.
- The natural pores and texture of travertine may accumulate fine dust over time — a soft brush or dry cloth is sufficient to maintain the surface.
- Turn off power at the circuit before cleaning or performing any maintenance on the fixture.
- Although suitable for outdoor use, avoid directing high-pressure water jets directly at the lamp during cleaning.
- Do not apply sealants, waxes, or stone treatments to the shade — the natural surface is part of the design.

- Q: Is the stone real travertine or a resin cast? A: Real travertine. The shade is carved from natural yellow cave stone — the surface pores, tonal variation, and veining you see are the stone's own character, not a printed or moulded finish. Every lamp is slightly different as a result.
- Q: Does it come with a bulb or LED already fitted? A: Yes — the Kiro has an integrated LED already built in. It is a 3W warm white LED at 3000K, rated for 50,000 hours. There is nothing to source or fit separately.
- Q: Can I use this outside, or is it indoor only? A: It is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. The travertine shade and iron body handle outdoor conditions well. For fully exposed positions in heavy rain, a covered or semi-sheltered location is recommended to preserve the stone surface long-term.
- Q: Does the light go up, down, or both? A: Both. The cylinder is open at the top and bottom, so the LED casts light upward and downward simultaneously — creating a warm wash along the wall in both directions. This is the defining visual effect of the Kiro.

Email us at hello@byauro.com with a photo of the damage within 48 hours of delivery. We'll send a replacement free of charge — no hassle, no back and forth.
How do I know what size to choose?
Every product page lists exact dimensions for each option. For wall art, your piece should fill roughly two-thirds of the wall space above your furniture — measure the width and multiply by 0.6 to 0.75. Hang it with the centre at eye level, around 150cm from the floor.
For lighting, a simple rule used by top designers: add your room's length and width in metres, multiply by 2.5, and that gives you the ideal fixture width in centimetres.
Pendants over a dining table should hang 75-90cm above the table surface.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?
We do our best to ensure accurate colour representation, but slight variations can occur due to screen settings and lighting conditions. Our products are produced to match the listing images as closely as possible.
