The AURO Sol is a wall sconce built around that quality: a solid copper arm cradling a hand-finished alabaster globe, casting a glow that settles into the room rather than announcing itself.
The body is copper — not painted, not powder-coated, but copper — finished with the kind of weight and warmth that reads as permanent. The globe is natural alabaster, a stone formed over thousands of years, which means no two are identical. The veining in yours will be yours alone. When the light passes through it at 3000K, the stone comes alive from within, glowing amber and ivory in a way no synthetic material can replicate.
Installation is hardwired and wall-mounted. The Sol does not move — it becomes part of the wall, part of the room, part of the architecture. Touch the base to cycle through three colour temperatures: 3000K for evening warmth, 4000K for reading, 6000K for clarity. No remote. No app. Just the light, responding to you.

- Wipe the copper body with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive materials or chemical cleaners, which can damage the copper finish.
- Clean the alabaster shade with a soft, dry or very lightly damp cloth. Do not use water directly on the stone — alabaster is porous and can absorb moisture, which may cause discolouration.
- Do not submerge or expose to prolonged moisture. Indoor use only.
- Copper will develop a natural patina over time. This is a characteristic of the material, not a defect. If you prefer to maintain the original finish, apply a thin coat of clear wax or copper polish annually.

- Q: Can I use a dimmable LED bulb to make this dimmable? A: No — the Sol has an integrated LED driver and touch-control circuit that is not compatible with external dimmer switches or dimmable bulbs. The fixture controls its own output via the touch cycle (3000K / 4000K / 6000K). It cannot be dimmed by a wall dimmer.
- Q: Does the alabaster shade get hot during use? A: The Sol uses an integrated LED rated at 60W max with a 30,000-hour lifespan, which generates significantly less heat than halogen or incandescent equivalents. The alabaster globe may feel slightly warm after extended use, but it will not become hot to the touch under normal operating conditions.
- Q: Is the alabaster shade solid stone, or is it a resin imitation? A: The shade is natural alabaster — a genuine stone, not resin, composite, or printed material. Because it is natural, each globe has its own unique veining pattern. The translucency you see in the product images is a property of the stone itself, not a coating or treatment.
- Q: Does this require a neutral wire, or can it be installed in a junction box with only live and earth? A: The Sol requires a standard hardwired connection: live, neutral, and earth. It cannot operate on live and earth alone. If your existing wall box does not have a neutral wire, a qualified electrician will need to run one before installation.

How do I know what size to choose?
Every product page lists exact dimensions for each option. For wall art, your piece should fill roughly two-thirds of the wall space above your furniture — measure the width and multiply by 0.6 to 0.75. Hang it with the centre at eye level, around 150cm from the floor.
For lighting, a simple rule used by top designers: add your room's length and width in metres, multiply by 2.5, and that gives you the ideal fixture width in centimetres.
Pendants over a dining table should hang 75-90cm above the table surface.
