There is a kind of lamp that makes a room feel like it was designed by someone who cared. The Rund is that lamp. Its round glass shade sits flush against the wall on a clean metal bracket — no visible cord, no exposed bulb, no compromise. Just a circle of frosted glass and the warm, even light that comes through it.
The Rund is available in frosted, clear, and creamy glass, and in black or gold bracket finishes — so it adapts to the room rather than demanding the room adapt to it. In a bedroom, a single Rund beside the bed replaces the bedside table lamp entirely. In a hallway, a pair of them transforms a corridor into somewhere that feels considered. In a bathroom, flanking a mirror, they do what no overhead light can — they light the face, not the ceiling.
It takes a B22 bulb — LED, Edison, warm or cool — so the quality of the light is yours to set. The three CCT settings (3500K warm, 4100K natural, 6000K cool) mean the same lamp works differently at different times of day. The bracket is hardwired — clean, permanent, and finished. No cord. No plug. No compromise.

- Wipe the glass shade with a soft, dry microfibre cloth to remove dust. Do not use abrasive cloths or chemical cleaners on the glass surface.
- For stubborn marks, dampen the cloth lightly with water only. Dry immediately — do not allow water to sit on the glass or bracket.
- Switch off and allow the lamp to cool fully before cleaning.
- The metal bracket can be wiped with a dry cloth. Do not use polish or solvent-based cleaners on the bracket finish.
- Do not use in wet or outdoor environments. IP20 rated — indoor use only.

- Q: Does this lamp require a professional electrician to install? A: The Rund is a hardwired wall lamp — it connects directly to your wall's mains wiring. In the UK and Australia, hardwired installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician. In the US, a licensed electrician is recommended. The installation itself is straightforward — the bracket mounts to a standard wall backbox and the wiring connects to live, neutral, and earth terminals.
- Q: Can this lamp be converted to plug-in so I don't need to hardwire it? A: Yes. A standard hardwire-to-plug conversion kit (available from most hardware stores) can be used to add a plug and cord to the bracket wiring. This allows the lamp to be used without hardwiring, with the cord running down the wall to a socket. The lamp is not supplied with a conversion kit — this would need to be purchased separately.
- Q: What bulb is recommended, and is one included? A: No bulb is included. We recommend a warm white LED B22 bulb (2700–3000K, 6–8W, equivalent to 40–60W incandescent) for the best balance of warmth and efficiency. Edison-style filament B22 bulbs also work well and are visible through the clear glass shade variant. Maximum rating is 40W — do not exceed this.
- Q: Does the glass shade get hot during use? A: With an LED bulb (recommended), the glass shade remains cool to the touch during normal use. LED bulbs generate significantly less heat than incandescent equivalents. If using a non-LED bulb, keep within the 40W maximum rating and ensure the shade has adequate airflow.

How do I know what size to choose?
Every product page lists exact dimensions for each option. For wall art, your piece should fill roughly two-thirds of the wall space above your furniture — measure the width and multiply by 0.6 to 0.75. Hang it with the centre at eye level, around 150cm from the floor.
For lighting, a simple rule used by top designers: add your room's length and width in metres, multiply by 2.5, and that gives you the ideal fixture width in centimetres.
Pendants over a dining table should hang 75-90cm above the table surface.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?
We do our best to ensure accurate colour representation, but slight variations can occur due to screen settings and lighting conditions. Our products are produced to match the listing images as closely as possible.
