There is a particular kind of light that belongs to a corridor at night — not bright, not decorative, but present. The Ligne is that light. A single elongated tube of warm gold and frosted glass, mounted flush to the wall, casting a clean wash of warmth in both directions. It does not announce itself. It simply makes the space feel right.
The body is die-cast aluminium finished in brushed gold — a material that holds its warmth under artificial light in a way that chrome and nickel never quite manage. The PC tube diffuser runs the full length of the fitting, distributing the LED output evenly with no hot spots, no shadows, no visible source. Just light.
The Ligne is dimmable, which means it belongs in more than one room. At full brightness it works as a mirror light in the bathroom or a reading sconce in the bedroom. Dimmed low, it becomes the ambient layer in a living room or the soft guide light in a staircase. One fitting. Many moments.
Available in four lengths — 39cm, 49cm, 59cm, and 69cm — the Ligne scales with the wall. Choose the length that fits the space, not the other way around.

- Wipe the aluminium body with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and fingerprints.
- For heavier soiling, use a slightly damp cloth with mild soapy water. Dry immediately — do not allow moisture to sit on the brushed gold finish.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or metal polishes on the brushed gold finish.
- Wipe the PC tube diffuser with a soft, lint-free cloth. Do not use ammonia-based glass cleaners as they may cloud the PC material over time.
- Disconnect from mains power before cleaning.

- Q: What dimmer switch is compatible with the Ligne?
A: The Ligne is compatible with standard leading-edge (TRIAC) and trailing-edge (ELV) dimmer switches rated for LED loads. It is not compatible with 0–10V or DALI dimming systems. We recommend a minimum dimmer load rating of 10W for smooth performance at low levels. - Q: Can the Ligne be mounted horizontally and vertically, or only one orientation?
A: The Ligne is designed for horizontal wall mounting — the tube runs parallel to the floor. It is not designed for vertical installation. The mounting bracket and wiring entry are positioned for horizontal use only. - Q: Is the gold finish painted or anodised — will it chip or peel over time?
A: The brushed gold finish on the Ligne is an electroplated coating applied to the die-cast aluminium body. It is not painted. Under normal indoor conditions — away from moisture, abrasive cleaning, and direct impact — the finish will remain stable and consistent over the product's lifespan. - Q: Can two Ligne fittings be wired to the same switch for symmetrical placement either side of a mirror or bed?
A: Yes — multiple Ligne fittings can be wired in parallel to a single switch or dimmer circuit, provided the total wattage does not exceed the switch's rated load. Two 30W Lignes draw 60W total; ensure your dimmer is rated for at least 60W LED load.

How do I know what size to choose?
Every product page lists exact dimensions for each option. For wall art, your piece should fill roughly two-thirds of the wall space above your furniture — measure the width and multiply by 0.6 to 0.75. Hang it with the centre at eye level, around 150cm from the floor.
For lighting, a simple rule used by top designers: add your room's length and width in metres, multiply by 2.5, and that gives you the ideal fixture width in centimetres.
Pendants over a dining table should hang 75-90cm above the table surface.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?
We do our best to ensure accurate colour representation, but slight variations can occur due to screen settings and lighting conditions. Our products are produced to match the listing images as closely as possible.
