Some lamps announce themselves. The AURO Kartio simply belongs. A clean iron arm, a conical shade, a warm pool of light — and the wall behind it becomes a different wall entirely.
The Kartio is wrought iron throughout — body, arm, and shade — finished in a high-temperature baked paint that holds its colour without fading or chipping. The conical shade directs light downward with quiet precision, casting a focused warmth that works as well beside a bed as it does above a restaurant table or in the corner of a reading room. The E27 socket accepts any bulb you choose: warm and amber for atmosphere, cooler and brighter for focus, smart and dimmable if the wall switch allows it. The Kartio gives you the form; the light is yours to decide.
Available in five finishes — matte black, white, sage green, warm grey, and yellow — each one a different conversation with the room around it. The black recedes into dark interiors and lets the form speak. The white opens a room. The green adds the kind of quiet colour that feels considered rather than decorative. The grey sits between them all. The yellow is for the room that already knows what it wants.

- Q: Can I use a smart bulb with this lamp to make it dimmable? A: Yes. The E27 socket is compatible with any smart E27 bulb (Philips Hue, IKEA TRÅDFRI, TP-Link Kasa, etc.). Smart bulbs with built-in dimming work independently of the wall switch — no dimmer switch required. The lamp itself is not dimmable, but the bulb can be.
- Q: Does the shade get hot during use? A: The iron shade will warm during extended use, particularly with incandescent or halogen bulbs. With an LED bulb (recommended), heat output is minimal. The shade is not designed to be touched during operation — allow to cool before handling or cleaning.
- Q: Is this lamp suitable for a bedroom where the wall switch is across the room? A: Yes. The lamp is controlled via the wall switch it is wired to. For bedside use without a conveniently placed switch, we recommend pairing it with a smart E27 bulb that can be controlled via app or voice — this is the most practical solution without rewiring.
- Q: Will the painted finish chip or scratch over time? A: The finish is applied via high-temperature baked paint, which bonds to the iron surface at elevated heat — this process produces a harder, more durable finish than standard spray paint. With normal use and occasional dry cloth cleaning, the finish holds without chipping or fading.

How do I know what size to choose?
Every product page lists exact dimensions for each option. For wall art, your piece should fill roughly two-thirds of the wall space above your furniture — measure the width and multiply by 0.6 to 0.75. Hang it with the centre at eye level, around 150cm from the floor.
For lighting, a simple rule used by top designers: add your room's length and width in metres, multiply by 2.5, and that gives you the ideal fixture width in centimetres.
Pendants over a dining table should hang 75-90cm above the table surface.

We do our best to ensure accurate colour representation, but slight variations can occur due to screen settings and lighting conditions. Our products are produced to match the listing images as closely as possible.
