There is a particular kind of quiet that a room earns at the end of the day. The overhead light goes off. Something smaller comes on. The AURO Ljus is built for that moment. A round disc of glass mounted flush against the wall, its integrated LED glowing from within — warm, contained, the kind of light that makes a room feel like it belongs to you.
The body is iron, finished in matte black. The disc shade is available in smoky gray, which filters the light into something cool and restrained, or cognac, which turns it golden and honeyed. Both are beautiful in daylight — considered objects that hold their shape on the wall long after the light is off. Two sizes: ⌀23cm for bedside tables and hallways; ⌀30cm for living rooms and dining spaces where the lamp needs to carry more weight.
The touch control is built directly into the fitting. One touch to turn on. Hold to dim. No app, no remote, no separate dimmer switch required — just the lamp and your hand. The LED is integrated and rated to 30,000 hours. It will not need replacing.
AURO designs for rooms that are lived in, not staged. The Ljus belongs on the wall beside the bed, at the end of a corridor, or flanking a sofa in a room that already has the bones of something good. - Q: Does the touch dimmer work independently of the wall switch — or does the wall switch need to be on for it to function? A: The wall switch must be in the ON position for the touch dimmer to operate. The touch control on the lamp itself handles all dimming and on/off functions — but it requires power from the wall switch to do so. Leave the wall switch on and use the lamp's touch control for day-to-day operation.
- Q: Will the glass disc get hot to the touch during use? A: No. The Ljus uses a 5W integrated LED, which produces very little heat. The glass disc remains cool to the touch during normal use. LED technology generates a fraction of the heat of incandescent or halogen bulbs.
- Q: Does this require a special dimmer wall switch, or will it work with a standard on/off switch? A: It works with a standard on/off wall switch — no special dimmer switch is required. The dimming function is built into the lamp itself via the touch control. Simply leave the wall switch on and use the touch surface on the lamp to adjust brightness.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Email us at hello@byauro.com with a photo of the damage within 48 hours of delivery. We'll send a replacement free of charge — no hassle, no back and forth.
How do I know what size to choose?
Every product page lists exact dimensions for each option. For wall art, your piece should fill roughly two-thirds of the wall space above your furniture — measure the width and multiply by 0.6 to 0.75. Hang it with the centre at eye level, around 150cm from the floor.
For lighting, a simple rule used by top designers: add your room's length and width in metres, multiply by 2.5, and that gives you the ideal fixture width in centimetres.
Pendants over a dining table should hang 75-90cm above the table surface.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?
We do our best to ensure accurate colour representation, but slight variations can occur due to screen settings and lighting conditions. Our products are produced to match the listing images as closely as possible.
