There are lights that illuminate a room, and there are lights that become the room. The AURO Ryn is the latter. Its crystal glass body — shaped by the memory of water moving across stone — catches the light and holds it differently every hour of the day. In the morning, it refracts. At dusk, it glows. At night, it pools warmth across the wall in a way that makes the whole space feel considered.
The form is entirely its own. The water-ripple surface is not a pattern applied to glass — it is the glass, shaped and set, so that the texture and the light source are one. The metal arm and backplate come in matte black or brushed gold, both finished to sit cleanly against plaster, stone, or timber. The LED light source is built in, replaceable, and available in three colour temperatures — warm white at 3000K for evenings, neutral at 4500K for working light, cool white at 6000K for clarity.

- Q: Do I need an electrician to install this? A: If you are replacing an existing hardwired wall sconce at an existing wired wall point, most confident DIYers can complete the swap — it is a standard live, neutral, and earth connection. If you are creating a new wall point from scratch, a qualified electrician is required to run the cable and install a wall box. The Ryn mounts to a standard 60mm wall box.
- Q: Can I control the colour temperature after installation, or is it fixed at purchase? A: The colour temperature is selected at the time of purchase — warm white (3000K), neutral (4500K), or cool white (6000K). It is not adjustable after installation. Choose based on the primary use of the room: 3000K for bedrooms and living rooms, 4500K for offices and kitchens, 6000K for task lighting.
- Q: Is this compatible with a dimmer switch? A: No. The Ryn is not dimmable. The built-in LED driver is not compatible with standard dimmer switches. It should be wired to a standard on/off switch only. Connecting it to a dimmer may cause flickering or damage the LED module.
- Q: The listing shows crystal — is this real crystal glass or acrylic? A: The shade is crystal glass — not acrylic or plastic. The water-ripple texture is formed in the glass itself during manufacturing, not applied as a coating. This gives the shade its weight, clarity, and the way it refracts light.

How do I know what size to choose?
Every product page lists exact dimensions for each option. For wall art, your piece should fill roughly two-thirds of the wall space above your furniture — measure the width and multiply by 0.6 to 0.75. Hang it with the centre at eye level, around 150cm from the floor.
For lighting, a simple rule used by top designers: add your room's length and width in metres, multiply by 2.5, and that gives you the ideal fixture width in centimetres.
Pendants over a dining table should hang 75-90cm above the table surface.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?
We do our best to ensure accurate colour representation, but slight variations can occur due to screen settings and lighting conditions. Our products are produced to match the listing images as closely as possible.
