The same clay that became vessels and tiles and bowls is what the AURO Keramik is made from — a round disc of fired ceramic, mounted flush to the wall, glowing from within with a warmth that no plastic or resin shade can produce. The material is not decorative. It is the lamp.
The Keramik is a wall lamp that disappears into a room the way a considered object should. When it is off, it reads as a sculptural disc — matte, quiet, architectural. When it is on, the ceramic body diffuses the light through its surface, turning the wall behind it into something warm and alive. Available in white, coffee, red, and yellow, each version has a different relationship with the room it enters.

- Q: Is the ceramic body fragile? What happens if it gets knocked? A: The Keramik is made from fired ceramic — the same material used in tiles, architectural mouldings, and tableware. It is robust in everyday use and will not break from normal contact. A sharp, direct impact (such as dropping it onto a hard floor during installation) can chip the surface, so handle with care during fitting. Once mounted on the wall, it is not at risk from normal use.
- Q: The LED is integrated — what happens when it eventually fails? A: The Keramik uses a CREE LED module with a rated lifespan of 30,000 hours. At 4 hours of use per day, that is over 20 years of normal use before the LED reaches end of life. In the unlikely event the module fails within the 2-year warranty period, we will replace the lamp. Beyond the warranty, the LED module can be replaced by a qualified electrician.
- Q: How far does the remote control work? Will it work from another room? A: The remote control operates via infrared (IR) and requires line-of-sight to the lamp's receiver. It works reliably within the same room — typically up to 5–8 metres. It will not work reliably through walls or around corners, as IR signals do not penetrate solid surfaces.
- Q: Will the white ceramic shade yellow or discolour over time? A: No. The ceramic glaze is fired at high temperature and is not susceptible to UV yellowing in the way that plastic or acrylic shades are. The white finish will remain consistent over time under normal indoor use. Avoid placing the lamp in direct sunlight from a window, which can cause any surface to fade gradually over many years.
- Q: Does this lamp need a qualified electrician to install? A: Yes. The Keramik is a hardwired wall lamp that connects directly to your home's mains wiring. Installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician. It is not a plug-in lamp.

How long will it take to receive my order?

How do I know what size to choose?
Every product page lists exact dimensions for each option. For wall art, your piece should fill roughly two-thirds of the wall space above your furniture — measure the width and multiply by 0.6 to 0.75. Hang it with the centre at eye level, around 150cm from the floor.
For lighting, a simple rule used by top designers: add your room's length and width in metres, multiply by 2.5, and that gives you the ideal fixture width in centimetres.
Pendants over a dining table should hang 75-90cm above the table surface.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?
We do our best to ensure accurate colour representation, but slight variations can occur due to screen settings and lighting conditions. Our products are produced to match the listing images as closely as possible.
