It is warm, uneven, alive. The AURO Eld is built around that quality. Two vertical tubes of genuine alabaster, held in a brass backplate, glow from within when the light comes on. The double-head configuration is a statement. Two upright alabaster columns, each one slightly different from the other because no two pieces of natural stone are the same. - Wipe the brass body and backplate with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive materials, or acidic cleaners — these will damage the brass finish.
- Clean the alabaster shades with a soft, dry cloth only. Do not use water, damp cloths, or any liquid cleaner — alabaster is a porous natural stone and will absorb moisture, which can cause staining or structural damage.
- Do not use solvents, bleach, or oil-based cleaners on the stone.
- Disconnect from mains power before cleaning.
- Indoor use only. Do not install in bathrooms with direct water exposure or in outdoor locations.
- Installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician. Do not attempt DIY wiring unless you are a certified professional.

- Q: Is the alabaster real stone, or is it a resin or synthetic imitation? A: The shades are cut from genuine natural alabaster — not resin, not composite, not a printed stone-effect finish. Alabaster is a soft, translucent mineral stone. Each tube carries its own natural veining and colour variation, which means no two Eld lamps are identical. If you hold a light directly behind the shade, you will see the light pass through the stone — something no synthetic material can replicate.
- Q: Does the stone get hot from the bulb heat? Could it crack? A: Alabaster is heat-tolerant in normal use. The Eld uses an E14 bulb base — we recommend a 7W LED, which produces very little heat. At the recommended wattage, the stone remains cool to the touch. We do not recommend using incandescent or halogen bulbs above 25W, as sustained high heat is not suitable for any natural stone lamp.
- Q: Does the lamp come with a bulb, or do I need to buy one separately? A: The Eld does not include a bulb. It uses a standard E14 screw base. We recommend a warm white (2700K) dimmable LED bulb at 5–7W for the best light quality through the alabaster. E14 LED bulbs are widely available in any hardware or lighting store.
- Q: Can I use this lamp with a dimmer switch? A: Yes. The Eld is compatible with dimmable E14 LED bulbs. When paired with a compatible dimmer switch and a dimmable E14 LED, you have full control over the light level. Ensure your wall dimmer is rated for LED loads — older trailing-edge dimmers designed for incandescent bulbs may not be compatible.

How do I know what size to choose?
Every product page lists exact dimensions for each option. For wall art, your piece should fill roughly two-thirds of the wall space above your furniture — measure the width and multiply by 0.6 to 0.75. Hang it with the centre at eye level, around 150cm from the floor.
For lighting, a simple rule used by top designers: add your room's length and width in metres, multiply by 2.5, and that gives you the ideal fixture width in centimetres.
Pendants over a dining table should hang 75-90cm above the table surface.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?
We do our best to ensure accurate colour representation, but slight variations can occur due to screen settings and lighting conditions. Our products are produced to match the listing images as closely as possible.
