Some lamps illuminate a room. The AURO Solène defines one. A single piece of polished metal — dome resting on a tapered column, warm light spilling downward through the shade — that holds its presence whether it is switched on or off.
The Solène is a mains lamp, designed to live in one place and do it well. A bedside table. A console in the hallway. A side table in the corner of a living room that needed one considered object to anchor it. The G9 fitting accepts any standard G9 LED bulb, giving you full control over the warmth and brightness of the light — choose a 2700K filament-style LED for the deepest amber glow, or a 3000K for clean, warm white.
The body is all metal. The finish is polished gold. It does not flex or creak. It does not feel like something assembled from parts — it feels like something cast. The weight of it on the table is part of the experience.

- Wipe the body and shade with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive materials or chemical cleaners — these will damage the polished finish.
- Disconnect from the mains before cleaning.
- Do not use a damp cloth on the metal body — moisture can affect the finish over time.
- For dust on the inside of the shade, use a soft dry cloth or a clean paintbrush to reach into the dome.
- Indoor use only. Do not expose to moisture, condensation, or outdoor conditions.
- Replace the G9 bulb only when the lamp is switched off and the bulb has fully cooled.

- Q: Does the lamp come with a bulb? A: No — the Solène uses a G9 bulb base, which is not included. Any standard G9 LED bulb fits. We recommend a 2700K–3000K warm white G9 LED at 3–5W for the best result. Max supported wattage is 40W equivalent.
- Q: Can I use a smart bulb in this lamp — such as a Philips Hue G9? A: Yes. The G9 holder is compatible with any standard G9 smart bulb. Note that the lamp itself has no built-in dimmer — all smart functionality (dimming, colour temperature, scheduling) comes from the bulb itself.
- Q: The lamp has no dimmer — is there any way to dim it? A: The Solène has a simple on/off cord switch. To dim the light, use a dimmable G9 LED bulb paired with a compatible smart plug or smart bulb app. Alternatively, a lower-wattage G9 bulb will produce a softer, more ambient light.
- Q: Is the gold finish durable — will it scratch or tarnish? A: The body is solid metal with a polished rust-resistant gold finish. Under normal indoor use, the finish holds well and does not tarnish. Avoid abrasive cloths or chemical cleaners — a soft dry cloth is all that is needed.
- Q: How long is the power cord? A: The power cord is approximately 150cm (59 inches) in length, with an on/off switch on the cord.

What is your return policy?

Email us at hello@byauro.com with a photo of the damage within 48 hours of delivery. We'll send a replacement free of charge — no hassle, no back and forth.
How do I know what size to choose?
Every product page lists exact dimensions for each option. For wall art, your piece should fill roughly two-thirds of the wall space above your furniture — measure the width and multiply by 0.6 to 0.75. Hang it with the centre at eye level, around 150cm from the floor.
For lighting, a simple rule used by top designers: add your room's length and width in metres, multiply by 2.5, and that gives you the ideal fixture width in centimetres.
Pendants over a dining table should hang 75-90cm above the table surface.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?
We do our best to ensure accurate colour representation, but slight variations can occur due to screen settings and lighting conditions. Our products are produced to match the listing images as closely as possible.

Once it's dispatched, we can't modify it, but you can return it under our 30-day return policy.
