Using high-capacity or lithium AAA batteries will extend this further. The lamp uses a 6W bulb, which is efficient for battery operation.
- Q: Is the glass fragile? Will it break easily if knocked? A: The Miro is made from decorative stained glass, which is thicker and more robust than standard window glass but should still be handled with care. It is not designed to withstand drops or sharp impacts. Treat it as you would any glass decorative object — place it on a stable surface away from high-traffic edges.
- Q: Is this lamp bright enough to read by? A: The Miro is designed as an ambient and atmospheric lamp, not a task light. It produces a warm, soft glow suited to evening relaxation, mood lighting, and decorative use. For reading, we recommend pairing it with a dedicated task lamp.
- Q: Can I use rechargeable batteries? A: Yes. Standard rechargeable AAA batteries (NiMH, 1.2V) work with the Miro. How do I know what size to choose?
Every product page lists exact dimensions for each option. For wall art, your piece should fill roughly two-thirds of the wall space above your furniture — measure the width and multiply by 0.6 to 0.75. Hang it with the centre at eye level, around 150cm from the floor.
For lighting, a simple rule used by top designers: add your room's length and width in metres, multiply by 2.5, and that gives you the ideal fixture width in centimetres.
Pendants over a dining table should hang 75-90cm above the table surface.
