The Aurel is cordless and rechargeable. It sits on a bedside table, a bookshelf, a dining table, a desk. It moves when you do. Touch it once to bring it to life. Touch it again to shift the warmth. Hold it and the room dims, slowly, exactly as far as you want. No cord trailing across the surface. No outlet required.
Six colour variants — Gold and Silver, each available in four additional finishes — mean the Aurel finds its place in almost any interior. The polished surface catches light differently at different angles. In daylight it is a sculpture. In the evening it becomes something else entirely.

- Q: How long does the battery actually last in real use — not just the spec? A: At mid-brightness (the setting most people use for ambient lighting), expect 10–12 hours from a full charge. At full brightness, expect 6–8 hours. For a typical evening of ambient use, a single charge is more than sufficient. Charging from empty takes approximately 3.5 hours via the included USB cable.
- Q: Is the light bright enough to use as a bedside reading lamp, or is it purely decorative? A: The Aurel is designed as an ambient and accent lamp — it produces a warm, focused glow that is ideal for atmosphere, mood lighting, and bedside use at low brightness. It is not designed to replace a bright task or reading lamp. If you need strong directional reading light, a dedicated reading lamp would serve you better alongside it.
- Q: Does the gold finish scratch or tarnish over time? A: The body is cast metal with a rust-resistant polished finish. Under normal indoor use, the finish holds well and does not tarnish. Avoid abrasive cloths or chemical cleaners — a soft dry cloth is all that is needed to keep it looking its best.
- Q: How do I switch between the three light colours? A: Touch the lamp once to turn it on (warm white, 3500K). Touch again to cycle to neutral white (4100K). Touch again for cool white (6000K). Touch again to turn it off. To dim, hold your finger on the lamp and release when you reach the brightness you want.
- Q: Can I charge it while it is switched on? A: No — the Aurel should be charged when switched off. Do not use the lamp while it is connected to the charging cable.

What is your return policy?

What if my order arrives damaged?
Email us at hello@byauro.com with a photo of the damage within 48 hours of delivery. We'll send a replacement free of charge — no hassle, no back and forth.
How do I know what size to choose?
Every product page lists exact dimensions for each option. For wall art, your piece should fill roughly two-thirds of the wall space above your furniture — measure the width and multiply by 0.6 to 0.75. Hang it with the centre at eye level, around 150cm from the floor.
For lighting, a simple rule used by top designers: add your room's length and width in metres, multiply by 2.5, and that gives you the ideal fixture width in centimetres.
Pendants over a dining table should hang 75-90cm above the table surface.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?
We do our best to ensure accurate colour representation, but slight variations can occur due to screen settings and lighting conditions. Our products are produced to match the listing images as closely as possible.

Once it's dispatched, we can't modify it, but you can return it under our 30-day return policy.
