The body is plated aluminium — solid, cool to the touch, with a weight that feels considered rather than heavy. The dome shade sits low and wide, casting the 2700K warm LED downward and outward in an even, shadow-free glow. No hotspots. No glare. Just warm light, exactly where you want it.
Touch the base once to turn it on. Touch again to step down. One more touch and it goes lower still. The 1800mAh rechargeable battery means it goes where you go — no outlet required, no cord to plan around. A full charge lasts through an evening. When it needs power, any USB-C cable brings it back.

- Q: How long does the battery last on a single charge? A: The Gild has a 1800mAh battery powering a 3W LED. At full brightness, expect approximately 3–4 hours of runtime. At the lowest brightness level, runtime extends to 6–7 hours — enough for a full evening.
- Q: Can I use the lamp while it is charging? A: Yes. The Gild supports pass-through charging — it can be used while the USB Type-C cable is connected. Charging may be slightly slower during use, but there is no need to wait for a full charge before turning it on.
- Q: Does the metal body get hot to the touch during use? A: No. The 3W LED produces very little heat. The plated aluminium body may feel slightly warm after extended use at full brightness, but it will not become hot to the touch and is safe to handle at any time.
- Q: Is the lamp suitable for outdoor use — on a patio or balcony table? A: The Gild is designed for indoor use and does not carry an IP weatherproof rating. It is not suitable for outdoor use in rain or high humidity. It can be used temporarily on a covered, sheltered outdoor surface in dry conditions.
- Q: Does the touch dimmer cycle back to full brightness, or does it turn off after the lowest level? A: The Gild has 3 brightness levels. Touching cycles: off → level 1 (full) → level 2 (mid) → level 3 (low) → off. It does not loop from low back to high — a single touch from any level turns it off, then back on at full brightness.

How do I know what size to choose?
Every product page lists exact dimensions for each option. For wall art, your piece should fill roughly two-thirds of the wall space above your furniture — measure the width and multiply by 0.6 to 0.75. Hang it with the centre at eye level, around 150cm from the floor.
For lighting, a simple rule used by top designers: add your room's length and width in metres, multiply by 2.5, and that gives you the ideal fixture width in centimetres.
Pendants over a dining table should hang 75-90cm above the table surface.
