- Q: How long does the battery actually last — and does it dim as it runs down?
A: At full brightness, the Glim runs for approximately 4–5 hours. On the lowest dimmer setting, runtime extends to around 8 hours. The lamp does not auto-dim as the battery depletes — brightness remains consistent until the battery is nearly exhausted, at which point the LED will begin to fade gradually as a low-battery indicator. - Q: Can I leave it plugged in all the time, or does that damage the battery?
A: Yes — the Glim can be used while connected to its USB-C charger without harming the battery. The charging circuit is designed to prevent overcharging. If you prefer to keep it on a desk or nightstand permanently, simply leave the cable connected and use it as a corded lamp whenever convenient. - Q: Is it safe to use outside — can it handle rain or damp conditions?
A: The Glim is rated IP54, which means it is protected against dust ingress and water splashes from any direction. It is suitable for sheltered outdoor use — a covered terrace, a balcony, or an outdoor dining table under an awning. It is not designed for direct rain exposure or permanent outdoor installation. - Q: Does the iron body get hot during extended use?

How do I know what size to choose?
Every product page lists exact dimensions for each option. For wall art, your piece should fill roughly two-thirds of the wall space above your furniture — measure the width and multiply by 0.6 to 0.75. Hang it with the centre at eye level, around 150cm from the floor.
For lighting, a simple rule used by top designers: add your room's length and width in metres, multiply by 2.5, and that gives you the ideal fixture width in centimetres.
Pendants over a dining table should hang 75-90cm above the table surface.
