The AURO Glys is built around that quality — a rounded glass shade that catches the warmth of a bulb and turns it into something softer, something that fills a room rather than pointing at it. It is the kind of light that makes a space feel inhabited.
The Glys sits on a clean iron base in black or brown-red — two finishes that disappear into the room and let the glass do the work. The shade is round, generous, and translucent. At night, it glows. In the day, it holds its shape as a considered object on a surface. Both states are worth having.
The E27 socket gives you complete control over the character of the light. A warm amber filament bulb for evenings. A higher-output LED for reading. The lamp does not prescribe — it accommodates. That flexibility is the point.

- Wipe the iron base with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive materials or chemical cleaners that may damage the finish.
- Clean the glass shade with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Dry immediately — do not allow water to pool at the base of the shade.
- Handle the glass shade with care — avoid impacts. Do not place the lamp where it may be knocked.
- Switch off and disconnect from power before cleaning.
- Indoor use only.
- Do not use bulbs exceeding the maximum wattage recommended for E27 fittings (typically 60W incandescent equivalent). LED bulbs are recommended.

- Q: Does the lamp come with a bulb included?
A: No. The Glys uses a standard E27 bulb socket — bulb not included. Any E27 LED, filament, or smart bulb will fit. We recommend a warm white (2700–3000K) LED bulb for best results with the glass shade. - Q: Can I use a dimmable bulb with this lamp?
A: The lamp itself has a switch control and is not dimmer-equipped. However, if you fit a dimmable E27 LED bulb and connect the lamp to a wall dimmer switch, dimming will work as normal. - Q: Does the glass shade get hot during use?
A: With an LED E27 bulb, the glass shade remains cool to the touch. We strongly recommend LED over incandescent — LED bulbs produce far less heat and are safer with glass shades. - Q: Is the glass shade removable for bulb changes?
A: Yes. The glass shade lifts off the iron base to allow easy access to the E27 socket for bulb replacement.

What if my order arrives damaged?
Email us at hello@byauro.com with a photo of the damage within 48 hours of delivery. We'll send a replacement free of charge — no hassle, no back and forth.
How do I know what size to choose?
Every product page lists exact dimensions for each option. For wall art, your piece should fill roughly two-thirds of the wall space above your furniture — measure the width and multiply by 0.6 to 0.75. Hang it with the centre at eye level, around 150cm from the floor.
For lighting, a simple rule used by top designers: add your room's length and width in metres, multiply by 2.5, and that gives you the ideal fixture width in centimetres.
Pendants over a dining table should hang 75-90cm above the table surface.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?
We do our best to ensure accurate colour representation, but slight variations can occur due to screen settings and lighting conditions. Our products are produced to match the listing images as closely as possible.

Once it's dispatched, we can't modify it, but you can return it under our 30-day return policy.

My tracking hasn't updated, should I be worried?
