There is a particular quality of light that comes through opal glass. Not bright. Not harsh. Something closer to the glow of a candle held behind frosted paper — diffused, warm, present without demanding attention. The AURO Orbe is built around that quality.
A polished stainless steel column rises from a weighted circular base. At the top, a perfect opal glass globe sits in quiet balance — the proportions drawn from Bauhaus principles, where every element earns its place and nothing is added for decoration alone. The result is an object that looks as considered switched off as it does switched on.
The Orbe is cordless and rechargeable. Touch it once to bring it to life. Hold it and the room dims slowly, exactly as far as you want. Three colour variants — Red, Orange, and White — each casting the same diffused warmth through the opal globe, each finding its own place in a different interior. The Red sits against a white wall like a considered accent. The White disappears into a neutral palette. The Orange brings something warmer, more unexpected.

- Wipe the stainless steel body with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive materials or chemical cleaners — they will scratch the polished finish.
- Clean the opal glass globe with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Do not submerge in water or use solvents.
- Handle the glass globe with care — it is fragile. Do not place where it may be knocked over.
- Charge fully before first use. Recharge when the light begins to dim — do not allow the battery to fully discharge.
- For storage of one month or more, charge to approximately 50% before storing.
- Indoor use only.

- Q: How long does the battery last on a full charge? A: The Orbe uses a USB rechargeable battery. At mid-brightness, expect approximately 6–8 hours of runtime on a full charge. At the lowest brightness setting, runtime extends further. Charging from empty takes approximately 2–3 hours via the included USB cable.
- Q: Can I use the lamp while it is charging — or does it have to be off? A: The Orbe is designed to be used either on battery or plugged in via USB, but not simultaneously. Charge it when switched off, then use it on battery. Do not use the lamp while connected to the charging cable.
- Q: Is the opal glass globe replaceable if it breaks? A: The globe is a standard opal glass sphere and can be replaced. Contact us directly if you need a replacement — we keep spares and can arrange one to be sent to you.
- Q: Is it bright enough to use as a reading lamp? A: The Orbe is designed as an ambient lamp, not a task or reading lamp. It produces a soft, diffused glow ideal for atmosphere, mood lighting, and bedside use. If you need strong directional reading light, a dedicated reading lamp would serve you better alongside it.
- Q: Does the colour of the shade (Red, Orange, White) affect the warmth of the light? A: Yes — slightly. The Red and Orange shades add a warm tint to the light, making it feel more amber and intimate. The White shade produces the most neutral, clean warm white. All three produce a soft, diffused glow — none are harsh or cool.

What if my order arrives damaged?
Email us at hello@byauro.com with a photo of the damage within 48 hours of delivery. We'll send a replacement free of charge — no hassle, no back and forth.
How do I know what size to choose?
Every product page lists exact dimensions for each option. For wall art, your piece should fill roughly two-thirds of the wall space above your furniture — measure the width and multiply by 0.6 to 0.75. Hang it with the centre at eye level, around 150cm from the floor.
For lighting, a simple rule used by top designers: add your room's length and width in metres, multiply by 2.5, and that gives you the ideal fixture width in centimetres.
Pendants over a dining table should hang 75-90cm above the table surface.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?
We do our best to ensure accurate colour representation, but slight variations can occur due to screen settings and lighting conditions. Our products are produced to match the listing images as closely as possible.

Once it's dispatched, we can't modify it, but you can return it under our 30-day return policy.
