There is a quality of light that makes a room feel inhabited rather than lit. The AURO Fyr produces that light — a 2400K warmth that sits at the threshold between candlelight and lamplight, soft enough to settle a room, present enough to read by. It sits on the table, the counter, the shelf. It goes where the moment is.
The base is aluminium alloy with a brushed electroplated finish — brass or nickel, each with the weight and stillness of a considered object. The cylindrical PMMA shade diffuses the light evenly, no hotspots, no glare. The form is low and wide: a disc and a cylinder, nothing more. It holds its shape in daylight as well as it performs at night.
The 2000mAh battery charges in three hours via USB-C and runs for up to nine hours at full brightness — or up to eighty hours at the lowest setting. Touch the base to cycle through four brightness levels. Or choose the gesture control version and wave your hand to dim. The lamp remembers your last setting when you turn it back on.

- Q: How long does the battery last at medium brightness — not just the min and max?
A: At 50% brightness (the third of four levels), runtime is approximately 18–20 hours per charge. The four levels are 5%, 15%, 50%, and 100% — so medium brightness gives you roughly two to three evenings of use from a single three-hour charge. - Q: Can it be used on an outdoor patio table?
A: Yes, in a covered outdoor position — a terrace, pergola, or covered dining area. The Fyr is not IP-rated for rain exposure, so it should not be left out in wet weather or placed where it will be rained on directly. - Q: Does the gesture control actually work reliably, or is it a gimmick?
A: The gesture control uses an infrared sensor and responds to a wave of the hand above the lamp to cycle through the four brightness levels. It works consistently at close range (within 15–20cm). If you prefer a more tactile control, the touch dimming version responds to a tap on the base — both versions are available at order. - Q: Does it remember the brightness setting when you turn it off and back on?

How do I know what size to choose?
Every product page lists exact dimensions for each option. For wall art, your piece should fill roughly two-thirds of the wall space above your furniture — measure the width and multiply by 0.6 to 0.75. Hang it with the centre at eye level, around 150cm from the floor.
For lighting, a simple rule used by top designers: add your room's length and width in metres, multiply by 2.5, and that gives you the ideal fixture width in centimetres.
Pendants over a dining table should hang 75-90cm above the table surface.
