A walnut body, warm and dark, holds a retro glass shade at just the right angle against the wall. The light comes on. The room changes. Not dramatically — quietly. The body is solid walnut, finished with a natural oil that brings out the depth of the grain without obscuring it. The glass shade is clear and slightly textured — the kind of glass that makes light look like it has weight. At 15W and 2700K, the Vedur throws a warm, amber glow that settles into a space rather than filling it. The knob switch sits on the body itself — a small, deliberate detail that makes the lamp feel like something made rather than manufactured.
The Vedur is hardwired — no cord, no plug, no trailing cable. It connects directly to your wall wiring and sits flush against the surface, as if it has always been there. It is compatible with any E27 bulb up to 40W, which means you can adjust the warmth and intensity to suit the room. A filament-style LED at 2700K is what the Vedur was designed for.

- Q: Is this hardwired, or does it come with a plug? A: The Vedur is hardwired — it connects directly to your wall wiring with no plug or trailing cord. Professional installation is recommended if you are not comfortable working with mains wiring.
- Q: What bulb base does it use — E26 or E27 — and is the bulb included? A: The Vedur uses an E27 bulb base. A bulb is not included — you will need to purchase one separately. It is compatible with LED, incandescent, and filament bulbs up to 40W. We recommend a warm white (2700K) filament-style LED for best results with the glass shade.
- Q: Will the glass shade get hot to the touch during use? A: With a standard LED bulb (which we recommend), the glass shade will remain cool or only slightly warm to the touch. LED bulbs produce significantly less heat than incandescent bulbs. If you use a high-wattage incandescent bulb, the shade may become warm — take care when handling after extended use.
- Q: Does the knob switch replace the wall switch, or do I still need to use both? A: The knob switch on the lamp body controls the light directly. For day-to-day use, leave the wall switch on and use the knob switch on the lamp to turn it on and off. The wall switch acts as a master cutoff for safety or when the lamp is not in use for extended periods.

How do I know what size to choose?
Every product page lists exact dimensions for each option. For wall art, your piece should fill roughly two-thirds of the wall space above your furniture — measure the width and multiply by 0.6 to 0.75. Hang it with the centre at eye level, around 150cm from the floor.
For lighting, a simple rule used by top designers: add your room's length and width in metres, multiply by 2.5, and that gives you the ideal fixture width in centimetres.
Pendants over a dining table should hang 75-90cm above the table surface.
