There is a shape that does not belong to any particular season. The bloom — layered, open, quietly luminous — has been the subject of design for centuries. The AURO Pilvi is its most considered translation: a cloud of acrylic petals, suspended from a single cord, casting warm light downward and outward in equal measure.
The shade is formed from individual acrylic petals, each one curved and layered over the next, building a form that reads as organic from every angle. When the light is off, it is a sculptural object — white, soft, and present. When the light comes on, the petals glow from within, each one catching and diffusing the warmth of the bulb behind it. The effect is not a lamp illuminating a room. It is a room that has come alive.
The E27 socket accepts any bulb you choose — warm and amber for a bedroom, brighter and cooler for a kitchen island, smart and dimmable if your circuit allows it. The cord adjusts from 24cm to 120cm, letting you set the drop exactly where the room needs it. Available in three sizes: 40cm, 50cm, and 60cm — each one a different scale of the same bloom.

- Q: Are the petals fragile — will they crack or break during installation? A: The petals are formed from high-density acrylic, which is significantly more impact-resistant than glass. They will not shatter if knocked during installation. Handle with care to avoid scratching the surface, but the material is robust enough for standard handling and installation.
- Q: Can I use a dimmable bulb with this lamp? A: Yes — the E27 socket is compatible with any dimmable E27 LED bulb. Whether the light dims depends on your wall switch or smart home circuit, not the lamp itself. A leading-edge or trailing-edge dimmer switch is required at the wall.
- Q: Will the acrylic petals yellow over time? A: High-density acrylic is UV-stabilised and will not yellow under normal indoor lighting conditions. Avoid placing the lamp in direct sunlight from a south-facing window for extended periods — prolonged UV exposure from sunlight (not from the bulb) can cause gradual yellowing in any acrylic product.
- Q: Does this require professional installation, or can I fit it myself? A: The Pilvi is a hardwired pendant — it connects directly to your ceiling wiring and does not use a plug socket. Installation requires turning off the circuit at the breaker and connecting live, neutral, and earth wires to the ceiling canopy. All mounting hardware is included. If you are not confident working with mains wiring, a qualified electrician should install it.

How do I know what size to choose?
Every product page lists exact dimensions for each option. For wall art, your piece should fill roughly two-thirds of the wall space above your furniture — measure the width and multiply by 0.6 to 0.75. Hang it with the centre at eye level, around 150cm from the floor.
For lighting, a simple rule used by top designers: add your room's length and width in metres, multiply by 2.5, and that gives you the ideal fixture width in centimetres.
Pendants over a dining table should hang 75-90cm above the table surface.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?
