The AURO Glöd is built around that quality. A disc of natural yellow onyx, mounted on a walnut body against the wall, glowing from within with a warmth that no glass or fabric shade can replicate. The light it gives is honeyed, amber, the colour of late afternoon through a window. It does not announce itself. It simply changes the room.
The body is solid walnut — warm-grained, matte, the kind of material that looks better the longer you look at it. - Q: Is this hardwired, or does it plug into a wall socket? A: The Glöd is hardwired — it connects directly to your wall wiring with no plug or trailing cord. Professional installation is recommended if you are not comfortable working with mains wiring.
- Q: Will the onyx shade look exactly like the product photos — or will it vary? A: Natural yellow onyx is a real stone, and every piece is unique. The veining, colour depth, and translucency of your shade will differ slightly from the product images — this is a characteristic of the material, not a defect. Every Glöd is one of a kind.
- Q: Is the LED integrated, or can I replace the bulb? A: The LED is fully integrated into the fitting — there is no separate bulb or socket. No bulb replacements are ever needed. The built-in LED is rated to 30,000 hours of use.
- Q: What does the remote control do — can it change colour temperature as well as brightness? A: The remote controls brightness only — it dims the lamp up and down. The colour temperature is fixed at 3000K warm white and cannot be changed. There is no colour-changing function.

What if my order arrives damaged?
Email us at hello@byauro.com with a photo of the damage within 48 hours of delivery. We'll send a replacement free of charge — no hassle, no back and forth.
How do I know what size to choose?
Every product page lists exact dimensions for each option. For wall art, your piece should fill roughly two-thirds of the wall space above your furniture — measure the width and multiply by 0.6 to 0.75. Hang it with the centre at eye level, around 150cm from the floor.
For lighting, a simple rule used by top designers: add your room's length and width in metres, multiply by 2.5, and that gives you the ideal fixture width in centimetres.
Pendants over a dining table should hang 75-90cm above the table surface.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?
We do our best to ensure accurate colour representation, but slight variations can occur due to screen settings and lighting conditions. Our products are produced to match the listing images as closely as possible.
