There is a particular kind of honesty in a clear glass pendant. Nothing is hidden. The bulb is the light, and the light is the object. The AURO Lasi makes no attempt to conceal what it is — a glass vessel, suspended from a cord, holding a warm source of light at exactly the height the room needs it.
The body is glass throughout — clear, smooth, and precisely formed. The shade shape comes in three variants: Bowl, Cone, and Cylinder. Each one a different conversation with the room beneath it. The Bowl spreads light softly outward. The Cone focuses it downward with quiet precision. The Cylinder holds it in a column of warm amber. The E27 socket accepts any bulb you choose — and with a clear glass shade, the bulb itself becomes part of the design. A warm Edison-style filament bulb turns the Lasi into something that reads as much as sculpture as it does as light.
Available in black and white canopy and cord. The black version recedes into dark ceilings, leaving only the glass visible. The white version sits clean against light plaster, deliberate and unassuming. Both are dimmable with the right bulb — and with a clear glass shade, the difference between full brightness and a low, warm glow is the difference between a kitchen and a dining room.
The Lasi is hardwired — it connects directly to your ceiling wiring on an adjustable cord. The cord is 200cm and gathers neatly inside the ceiling canopy, letting you set the drop exactly where the room needs it. All mounting hardware is included.

- Disconnect from power before cleaning.
- Wipe the glass shade with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Do not use abrasive materials, solvents, or chemical cleaners on the glass surface.
- For fingerprints and smudges — a microfibre cloth with a small amount of glass cleaner applied to the cloth (not directly to the shade) works well. Dry immediately after.
- Wipe the metal canopy and cord fittings with a soft, dry cloth.
- Indoor use only.

- Q: Will the clear glass shade cause glare or be too bright? A: This is the most common concern with clear glass pendants — and the answer depends entirely on the bulb you choose. A clear filament LED bulb (like an Edison-style) creates a warm, visible source that reads as beautiful at low-to-medium brightness but can feel harsh at full power. A frosted or matte white LED bulb diffuses the light inside the glass and eliminates glare entirely. The Lasi is compatible with dimmable bulbs — pairing it with a dimmer switch gives you full control over brightness, making glare a non-issue in practice.
- Q: What bulb do you recommend for this pendant? A: For the best result with a clear glass shade, use a warm white (2700K) Edison-style filament LED bulb — the visible filament becomes part of the design and the warm colour temperature prevents the harshness associated with cool or bright white bulbs. A 4W–6W LED equivalent is sufficient for ambient lighting. If you prefer a cleaner, more diffused look, a matte white G95 or G125 globe bulb in the same warm colour temperature works well. Any E27 bulb up to 60W equivalent will fit.
- Q: Can I use this pendant over a dining table or kitchen island? A: Yes — the Lasi is well suited to both. For a dining table, hang the shade 70–80cm above the table surface for focused, intimate light. For a kitchen island, 75–90cm above the worktop is the standard range. The 200cm cord gives you full flexibility to set the drop precisely. For islands or tables wider than 100cm, consider hanging two or three Lasi pendants in a row rather than a single unit.
- Q: Is this hardwired or does it plug into a socket? A: The Lasi is hardwired — it connects directly to your ceiling wiring and does not use a plug socket. Installation requires turning off the circuit at the breaker and connecting live, neutral, and earth wires to the ceiling canopy. All mounting hardware is included. If you are not confident working with mains wiring, a qualified electrician should install it.

How do I know what size to choose?
Every product page lists exact dimensions for each option. For wall art, your piece should fill roughly two-thirds of the wall space above your furniture — measure the width and multiply by 0.6 to 0.75. Hang it with the centre at eye level, around 150cm from the floor.
For lighting, a simple rule used by top designers: add your room's length and width in metres, multiply by 2.5, and that gives you the ideal fixture width in centimetres.
Pendants over a dining table should hang 75-90cm above the table surface.
