There is a moment, when the light comes on, when the shade stops being a shade and becomes the thing itself. The AURO Krans is built around that moment. A circular disc of white marble-effect resin, patterned with a sunflower relief that catches the light from within and releases it as something warm, soft, and alive. Unlit, it is a sculptural object — a considered disc on the wall that earns its place in daylight. Lit, it becomes something else entirely.
The body is iron, finished in matte gold. The arm extends from the wall plate at a gentle angle, holding the disc at the right height — close enough to feel intimate, far enough to cast light across the wall behind it. The sunflower pattern is pressed into the surface of the shade, not painted onto it — the texture is physical, dimensional, the kind of detail that rewards close attention.
At 10W with an E26 bulb base, the Krans gives you full control over the quality of the light. Pair it with a warm white filament LED for a honeyed, atmospheric glow. Use a cooler bulb for a cleaner, more contemporary feel. The shade does the rest — softening, diffusing, giving the light a quality that bare bulbs and flat shades never achieve.

- Q: Is this hardwired or plug-in? A: The Krans is hardwired — it connects directly to your wall wiring with no plug or trailing cord. Professional installation is recommended if you are not comfortable working with mains wiring.
- Q: What bulb base does it take — E26 or E27 — and is the bulb included? A: The Krans uses an E26 bulb base. A bulb is not included — you will need to purchase one separately. It is compatible with LED, incandescent, and filament bulbs up to 40W. We recommend a warm white (2700–3000K) filament-style LED for best results with the marble shade.
- Q: Will the shade get hot to the touch during use? A: With a standard LED bulb (which we recommend), the shade will remain cool or only slightly warm to the touch. LED bulbs produce significantly less heat than incandescent bulbs. If you use a high-wattage incandescent bulb, the shade may become warm — take care when handling after extended use.
- Q: Is the shade fragile — does it arrive safely packaged? A: The marble-effect resin shade is robust but should be handled with care. The lamp ships in protective packaging designed to prevent damage in transit. Inspect the shade on arrival before installation.

How do I know what size to choose?
Every product page lists exact dimensions for each option. For wall art, your piece should fill roughly two-thirds of the wall space above your furniture — measure the width and multiply by 0.6 to 0.75. Hang it with the centre at eye level, around 150cm from the floor.
For lighting, a simple rule used by top designers: add your room's length and width in metres, multiply by 2.5, and that gives you the ideal fixture width in centimetres.
Pendants over a dining table should hang 75-90cm above the table surface.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?
